Our Standards
Everyone on Latin Dance Club — students, instructors, organizers, and teams — is expected to follow these guidelines. They exist so the community stays welcoming, safe, and inspiring for dancers of every background, age, ability, and level.
Respect Each Other
Do not engage in, post, or encourage any of the following:
- Harassment — bullying, stalking, threats, doxxing, or repeated unwanted contact.
- Sexual misconduct — unwanted sexual advances, sexually explicit content, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Hate speech & discrimination — content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or serious disease.
- Racism in any form, including coded or "ironic" expressions.
- Threats or incitement of violence, self-harm, or unlawful activity.
- Spam, unsolicited promotions, deceptive engagement schemes, or repetitive messaging.
Safety & Consent
- Do not record, photograph, or stream another user without their explicit consent.
- Respect partner boundaries on the dance floor — verbal consent always overrides body language.
- Do not share private contact information of others without permission.
- Do not post content that could put a minor at risk.
Honesty & Authenticity
- Do not impersonate another person, instructor, team, brand, or organization.
- Do not create fake accounts, manipulate engagement, or artificially inflate followers.
- Be truthful about credentials, certifications, prices, and event details.
Intellectual Property
- Only upload videos, music, photos, choreography, and other content you own or are licensed to share.
- Credit collaborators, choreographers, and music creators where appropriate.
- To report copyright infringement, see our DMCA / Copyright Policy.
Reporting a Violation
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, use the in-app report tools or our contact form. Reports are reviewed by our team. We will never disclose the identity of a reporter to the person being reported.
Enforcement
Violations may result in content removal, restriction of features, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the Service — at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Severe violations may also be referred to law enforcement. Decisions are final, though you may appeal by contacting us.
