Latin Dance Club is operated by Cosmo Labs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our website, web and mobile applications, and related services (the "Service").

• Email address used to create and authenticate your account.
• Profile information — display name, bio, photo, city, dance styles, levels, social handles, and any other details you choose to add.
• Uploaded content — videos, photos, lessons, posts, and other files you submit to the Service.
• Messages — direct messages and team chat content sent through the Service.
• Team memberships — the teams you join, follow, or manage.
• Booking history — private lessons, bookings, and live session metadata.
• Payment metadata — limited information returned by our payment processor (card brand, last 4 digits, billing country). We do not store full card numbers.
• Device and browser analytics — operating system, browser type, screen size, language, and feature usage.
• IP address and approximate location derived from it, used to secure your account and surface nearby content.

• To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate your account and protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• To deliver lessons, messages, notifications, and reminders you have opted into.
• To process payments, dues, donations, and subscriptions.
• To recommend instructors, teams, and content relevant to you.
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We share personal information only with the third-party service providers needed to run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• Daily.co — live video sessions.
• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and network security.
• Google OAuth — optional "Sign in with Google" authentication.
• Lovable AI Gateway — optional AI-powered features such as recommendations and content assistance.

We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information to comply with applicable law, lawful requests from authorities, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cosmo Labs, our users, or the public.

We collect anonymous and aggregated analytics about how the Service is used — such as page views, feature usage, error rates, and performance metrics — to improve the product. Where possible, this data is collected without identifying you personally.

We use cookies and local storage for:

• Session cookies — to keep you signed in across pages.
• Authentication cookies — to securely identify your account.
• Preference storage — to remember settings such as your selected city, theme, or notification preferences.
• Performance and analytics — to understand and improve how the Service performs.

• Restriction & objection. You may ask us to restrict or object to certain uses of your personal data.

Residents of the EEA, UK, and California may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We retain account and activity data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is required by law.

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest where supported, role-based access controls, and routine review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our service providers may store and process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. By using the Service you consent to such transfers.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
